“Created on Earth” Art Contest 

Official Rules & Submission Agreement 

1. Contest Overview 

Starfall Cider Co. (“Sponsor”) invites artists and photographers to submit original astrophotography or space-themed artwork for consideration to be featured on Starfall Cider Co. Hazy Honeycrisp 6-pack cartons from May through August 2026. 

2. Eligibility 

To be eligible, entrants must: 

1. Be at least 21 years of age at time of entry 
2. Be a legal resident of Oregon, Washington, or Idaho 
3. Not be an employee of Schilling Cider, LLC. or its affiliates, or an immediate family member of such employees 
4. Submit original work they have the legal right to license 

Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of age and eligibility at any time, including prior to finalist selection or awarding of any prize. 

3. Submission Period 

Submissions will be accepted from February 2, 2026 at 12:00 AM PT through March 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. Late submissions will not be considered. 

4. How to Enter 

Complete the submission form at www.starfallciderco.com/createdonearth and upload your original astrophotography or space-themed artwork. Acceptable formats: JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Minimum resolution: 300 DPI at print size. Limit one (1) entry per person. 

By submitting an entry, entrants affirm that they meet all eligibility requirements, including being at least 21 years of age at the time of entry. 

5. Selection Process 

Submissions will be reviewed by the Starfall Cider Co. marketing team, who will select 2-3 finalists based on the following criteria: 

• Originality — Is the work unique and distinctly the artist’s own? 

• Visual Impact — Does the image stop the scroll? Is it striking? 

• Brand Alignment — Does it capture the Starfall spirit: wonder, night sky, cosmic themes? 

• Technical Suitability — Is the image high-resolution and suitable for print reproduction on packaging? 

Finalists will be announced on or around March 5, 2026. Public voting will determine the winner, with voting open from approximately March 5-11, 2026.

Voting is conducted via Easy Promos. By voting, participants agree to Easy Promos’ Terms of Service

The winner will be announced on or around April 15, 2026. 

All judging decisions are final and at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer finalists if an insufficient number of qualified entries are received. 

6. Prize 

The winning submission will be featured on Starfall Cider Co. Hazy Honeycrisp 6-pack cartons distributed in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho from May through August 2026. The winner will also be featured on Starfall Cider Co. social media channels and may be included in point-of-sale materials. 

No monetary prize or compensation will be provided. The prize consists solely of the exposure and recognition of having artwork featured on Starfall Cider Co. packaging and promotional materials. 

7. Image/Artwork License & Release 

By submitting an entry, you grant Starfall Cider Co. a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display your submitted image/artwork for the following purposes: 

1. Product packaging (specifically Hazy Honeycrisp 6-pack cartons, May-August 2026) 
2. Social media and digital marketing 
3. Point-of-sale materials and printed promotional materials 
4. Press and publicity related to the contest and Starfall Cider Co. 

You retain ownership of your original work. However, if selected as the winner, you agree not to license, sell, or grant usage rights for the winning image to any third party for commercial purposes during the packaging feature period (May 1 – August 31, 2026). Personal use, portfolio display, and non-commercial sharing are permitted during this time. 

After August 31, 2026, you may freely license, sell, or use your work without restriction. 

8. Representations & Warranties 

By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that: 

1. The submission is your original work 
2. You have full right and authority to grant the license described above 
3. The submission does not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights 
4. If the submission includes any recognizable individuals, you have obtained their consent 
5. The information you provide is accurate and complete 

9. Liability Release 

By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Starfall Cider Co., and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liability arising from your participation in this contest or use of your submission as described herein. 

10. General Conditions 

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the contest. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Any entrant found to be ineligible, including due to age, may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
